We make our own giant knitting needles, crochet hooks and weaving looms.  Bringing you even more choice with our tool selection and DIY Kits to let you make your own unique creations!  We simply can’t imagine one without the other – Wood & Wool (like coffee ‘n cream, peanut butter and jelly…!)

We love the richly fulfilling journey of discovery and experimentation, to hone our ideas and turn them into fantastic products to inspire you to create like crazy!  A masterclass collaboration of two exceptional artisan skills and craftsmanship – woodturning and crafting with wool.  And we get to enjoy both of these with our own workshop and passionate artisans!

Who are our turners and shapers?

Our brilliant artisan wood turners in our workshop are Ali, Rob,Tom and Dave. They are all experts in their own fields – Rob is the maestro and master of giant knitting needles, Tom fearlessly fashions crochet hooks, Dave has far too many years of experience to fit in one humble mention, and he is absolutely our ‘go to’ guy for our workshop advice and new product design.

And Ali works closely with our creative product designer, Claire, to make sure that all the wonderful ideas for handmade artisan wood tools and accessories come to life and into our store, so that we continue to share our love and passion for all new things wool with you!

We have recently also expanded our woodturning and workshop production with our investment in an industrial laser to add to our range. We are making weaving looms and accessories on this to start with, but the options are endless. Everything in our world is scalable!
